00SummaryWork closely with Manufacturing to support and improve manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting equipment and process issues, performing and documenting fixtures and equipment maintenance and updating process documentation.
Assists with projects through building or procuring test equipment and performing testing, including process validations.
Reviews engineering drawings and analyzes design for conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.
Work with Design team to develop, set, and maintain the company's CAD standards and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Involved in the entire course of manufacturing.
Inspect components before assembly, analyze trial products during development, or test finished goods.
Record and analyze the results in order to decide whether to certify or reject specific products.
Assist with revisions and improvements to manufacturing methods and procedures.
Consult with manufacturing to resolve questions or misunderstandings Consult with quality control to ensure correctness of product Schedule, complete and document routine maintenance on applicable manufacturing and test equipment.
Assist with the administration of regulatory reporting, hazardous materials & quality programs Develop 2D and 3D drawings suitable for manufacturing specifications Mentor and train new hires.
Provide help on complex projects Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Willingness to learn and receive on the job training Willingness to share information in the job training process Excellent basic arithmetic skills required Ability to interpret complex specification sheets required Ability to directly communicate verbally required Ability to manage your own time and set priorities Pay very close attention to detail and accuracy Solid Works experience Education & Experience Requires a 2-year degree 1-2 years relevant experience, or equivalent education Physical Demands Lift up to 20 pounds overhead.
Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Stand on concrete floor up to 10 hours per day.
Wear personal protective equipment.
Demonstrate adequate dexterity and stamina.
